Please note that apartments in other cities, those denoted with a “Partner Managed” badge, or those with ID numbers ending in “A” are excluded. In some cases, other homes may also be excluded, and our team will inform you when that's the case.

How can I relocate during my Live@Blueground stay?

You can relocate between any qualifying, available apartments within the Live@Blueground portfolio with 30 days’ notice. A minimum of 30 days stay per location OR the minimum stay requirement of the city applies, whichever is longer. The first relocation only requires a cleaning fee to be paid. For additional relocations, the standard relocation policy applies. A cleaning fee for the new unit of relocation will be applied and is calculated based on the size of the apartment and city. Monthly pricing will adjust according to each property’s 12-month rate.

How does 'rent freezing' work?

A guest can freeze their contract a maximum of three times for up to two months as part of each full 12-month commitment. 30 days notice required to freeze contract, and overall total stay duration of contract must still be 12+months.
For example:
Freeze 2 months + 12 months stay = 14 total months. Availability for the same apartment, neighborhood or city before and after a freeze is not guaranteed (and if same unit is unavailable, your Sales rep will locate a comparable unit for you); cleaning fee will apply for each contract freeze.

How do cancellations work?

Canceling before move-in
  • If 15 or more days before move-in, a half month’s rent charge (and no service/booking or card processing fee refund).
  • If fewer than 15 days before move-in, one month’s rent charge (and no service/booking or card processing fee refund).
Switching apartments before move-in
  • If 15 days or more before move-in, a half month’s rent charge.
  • If less than 15 days before move-in, one month’s rent charge.
  • Switching to partner-managed apartments isn’t allowed.
  • No card processing fee refund.
Ending your stay early (post move-in)
  • Provided the minimum stay has been met, you can end your stay with 30 days’ written notice.
  • Your rate will be adjusted based on your actual length of stay. If you’ve relocated during your stay, any pricing adjustments will be based on your most recent apartment.
  • Any service/booking, cleaning, or card processing charges are non-refundable.

Are there any additional fees?

  • Utilities, cleaning costs, and fees/taxes are additional
  • A refundable security deposit is required for guests who reserve with certain payment methods, depending on the city. Guests who stay in US cities and pay with an instant bank transfer (Plaid) can avoid this charge
  • For guests who relocate, a security deposit will be paid only for the initial apartment. Your security deposit will be refunded in full at the end of your stay, provided there are no issues found during our inspection. If damages are assessed, or items are missing from the apartment, guests will generally receive partial refunds. Guests in the US who reserved their apartments with an instant bank transfer (Plaid) will be charged for damages or missing items via their linked bank accounts
  • For guests who relocate, a security deposit will be paid only for the initial apartment. Your security deposit will be refunded in full at the end of your stay, provided there are no issues found during our inspection. What happens if Live@Blueground's benefits conflict with any local Blueground market regulations?

How do I book a home that’s part of the Live@Blueground program?
