About the neighborhood
Marousi is a leafy neighborhood located in the northern suburbs, 14 kilometers from the center of Athens. As one of the city's most important business hubs, it hosts many large multinational companies and organizations. The neighborhood is also home to the largest forest in urban Athens; Dasos Syngrou, the Athens Olympic Sports Complex from the 2004 Summer Olympics.
